The College Main Parking Garage is located in the cultural hub of College Station — Northgate. The building is a three-story, four-level garage with 711 parking spaces and a community police office. The cast-in-place concrete frame was clad with brick veneer to visually break up the scale of the building and to make it sympathetic to the surrounding buildings. The city commissioned a local artist to paint a mural on the south façade of the building as a part of the public art program. The project bid 12 percent below the budget, which allowed the city increase the scope of the project during construction to enhance the surrounding area.
