City of College Station, Texas By 1998, the College Station Utility Customer Services had outgrown their existing space in the City Hall. The new one-story, 16,000 square-foot building houses their utility departments including the city’s Department of Technology and Information Services. The building includes drive-through and walk-up tellers similar to a bank. The exterior massing and treatments reflect the interior building functions. The entry gable element balances with the gable massing at the drive-thru component. Completed in 1999, the building looks as good today as it did when it was completed, giving testament to the city’s pride in the building. |
