College Station, Texas The BCS Heart project was a design-build project completed in July 2006. It is a two-story, 22,000 square-foot building that houses cardiologists (the owners) and attendant laboratory and staff space on the first floor and several medical office lease spaces on the second floor. Our collaboration with Vaughn Construction enabled on-time and on-budget occupation. The Arkitex Studio worked closely with the owners to determine their current and future needs and designed a facility that gave them expansion capability. The owners were particularly interested in the building having a classical yet contemporary feel both on the interior and exterior. The Arkitex Studio also provided design and construction services for the five lease spaces on the second floor. This classically-inspired building incorporates the best of the past, present and future. |
