Business Center at College Station, Texas StataCorp develops cutting-edge statistics and data-management software for business and research professionals. Construction on the StataCorp master-planned campus, located in the College Station Business Center, began in 1999. The business outgrew their first building just three years after completion. The Phase III project, completed in the summer of 2005, includes a 21,000 square foot building that is the new home for executive offices, the programming department and the technical support department. A classroom for training clients is included. A park and pavilion — an area for employee relaxation and exercise — was also a part of Phase III. The design features a two-and-a-half-story glass entry lobby, and a curved office wall with continuous windows that afford employees uninterrupted views of the park. Exterior materials are similar to the first building, while the park echoes a city-built park in the Business Center. |
