Founding Principal

Charlie Burris has been involved in every aspect of architectural practice with a particular interest in regional vernacular architecture, uniting character from the past with the simplicity of modern design. An idea person, he heads up the firm's design emphasis based on a foundation of technical expertise. Charlie's design work has been recognized with various awards over the years. He has served on various local civic committees. Charlie is a two-time past president of AIA Brazos who has served on the Texas Society of Architects' (TSA) Government Affairs Steering Committee, Design Awards Committee and Publications Committee. He currently serves as a TSA Vice President. Charlie is a registered architect (#7904 TX) and is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (#30461).
