Mike joined The Arkitex Studio in 1997 after working in Reston, Virginia and Houston. Mike’s past experience includes campus-wide improvements to the University of Houston, Washington on the Brazos State Historical Park, and St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. Mike is an excellent practitioner, with keen attention to details. His design work for the 120 Main Street Renovation project received the 2005 Excellence in Architecture Merit award from AIA Brazos. Mike received his Bachelor of Environmental Design degree from Texas A&M University in 1987 where he was a member of the Tau Sigma Delta Honor Society in Architecture. Mike is a registered architect (#14376 TX), a member of both the Texas Society of Architects and the American Institute of Architects and has served as President of the Brazos Chapter of the AIA in 2001. An avid cyclist, Mike is a member of the Brazos Valley Mountain Bike Association. |
