Washington County, Texas The owners desired a home surrounded by the vineyard at their rural Washington County homesite. The owners were avid fans of French country architecture, so the design included detailed stonework, out-swinging casement windows, true working shutters, small bedroom balconies, a turret element , and a car court. Since the couple worked from home, a full office was incorporated into the plans. The original design included a full basement for winemaking; this was deleted in the final design. |
